Frederick Reynolds

My father, Frederick Arthur Reynolds served on HMS Speedwell, a minesweeper. He was a stoker. He never told me what he did during the war except to say “it was bloody cold”.

HMS Speedwell took part in convoys PQ8, PQ-12, PQ-13, QP-6, QP-7, QP-9, QP-10, JW-54B, JW-55A, RA-55B, and RA-56.
