The Board of Trustees of the Russian Arctic Convoy Project, the charity which owns and runs the museum, have decided to adopt a trading name for the museum. Henceforth, the museum will trade under the name Arctic Convoy Museum. We have informed the Scottish Charity’s Commission (OSCR) about this and they have agreed to it.
The reason for changing the name is that it more accurately reflects the story the museum tells, namely the allied campaign to supply the Soviet Union with much needed war material following the German invasion in June 1941. The name of the charity will remain unchanged.
