Museum Volunteers
The Russian Arctic Convoy Museum is a small museum based in Aultbea, in the Highlands of Scotland. We hold a large collection of items from the Arctic Convoys of WWII and welcome visitors from all over the world, wishing to trace relatives wartime service or just find out more about the role the local area played during the war.
We are opening for the 2022 season on Monday 11th April and are looking for volunteers to meet and engage with the visitors to the museum.
If you enjoy meeting and speaking to visitors to the area and learning about the Arctic Convoys that sailed from Loch Ewe during WWII then this might be of interest to you.
We ask volunteers to come to the Exhibition Centre either from 10am to 1pm or from 1pm to 4pm.
If you are interested in volunteering or wish to learn more about the role please contact the EC manager on 01445 731137 or at exhibition@theracmproject.org.
